The Announcement (Extended)

This is a bit longer version of the same announcement on Xmas. Some highlights:

Mom: "Dali!" That means hurry up in Tagalog, since we were taking so long to set up the shot.

(Tito) Rick: "WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Laurie: "Are you serious!?!? Oh my God!!!" Love that.

Tita Norma: "At last! At last!" while she points to Mom, as if to say, "Finally, you're going to be a Lola!"

Kevin: "That's why it's a surprise. Come on." after hearing Tita Norma say, "I didn't know! I didn't know!" Sometimes surprises need explanations...

Don't know about y'all, but I could watch this over and over.

This is how we told the Heraldo clan in Richmond on Christmas. Very fun.

Kidney Bean to Grape

First pictures of the little one, taken December 28, 2007. Heartbeat - 167 beats/min. The little one was the size of a kidney bean then, and is currently about the size of a grape.

Contrary to JJ's prediction, we are not having twins...
