The Big 3-0

We've reached 30 weeks! We're going camping this weekend, so we're starting to fill up the 6-person tent we bought in 2001 (how's that for looking ahead?). 30 down, 10 to go.

23 weeks and counting

It's amazing to think a little person is growing in EZ's belly and will be with us in less than four months. The little one is now over 10 inches long and weighs over 1 pound. EZ's belly has also grown, and we're enjoying seeing and feeling the baby move. Here's a pic of them at 23 weeks and one day.

Lemony Lemon

The Little One has grown to about 3 1/2 inches long and weighs about 1 1/2 ounces, close to the size of a lemon. Here are the latest pics of him/her striking poses for the ultrasound technician.

The Announcement (Extended)

This is a bit longer version of the same announcement on Xmas. Some highlights:

Mom: "Dali!" That means hurry up in Tagalog, since we were taking so long to set up the shot.

(Tito) Rick: "WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Laurie: "Are you serious!?!? Oh my God!!!" Love that.

Tita Norma: "At last! At last!" while she points to Mom, as if to say, "Finally, you're going to be a Lola!"

Kevin: "That's why it's a surprise. Come on." after hearing Tita Norma say, "I didn't know! I didn't know!" Sometimes surprises need explanations...
